Year 4 and Year 5

Mr Goddard teaches Maple class.

The children in Year 4 and Year 5 are in Key Stage 2 and follow the National Curriculum for their age group.

Year 4 Multiplication Check

The multiplication tables check (MTC) is statutory for all year 4 pupils. The purpose of the MTC is to determine whether pupils can recall their times tables fluently, which is essential for future success in mathematics. It helps to identify pupils who have not yet mastered their times tables, so that additional support can be provided. The children will take part in the check in June and the class teacher will be happy to speak with you regarding any questions you may have about the check
