About Us

A very warm welcome to Bottisham Community Primary School from our Headteacher, Mark Askew

Welcome to the Bottisham Community Primary School website. Our aim is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children are able to achieve their fullest potential. Through our exciting and engaging curriculum, we strive for our children to become confident, creative and enthusiastic learners who have a curiosity about the world in which we live and a passion for knowledge. We expect our children to leave us with a strong self-esteem, resilience, high personal expectations and respect for themselves and others.

As a community primary school, we play an active role in the life of the village with close links to a range of groups who use our school facilities. We have a committed and thriving Parent Teacher Association (PTA) who make a fantastic contribution to the life of the school through their fundraising activities each year. Our school benefits from spacious grounds including excellent play areas, our own forest space and a wildlife area, providing the children with a wonderful opportunity to explore and investigate through their play. The popular after-school club, Dawn until Dusk, is also based on the school premises.

Our school is a member of Anglian Learning and is situated to the north-east of the university city of Cambridge, serving the villages of Bottisham, Lode and Stow-cum-Quy. We take children from the ages of 3 – 11, starting in our Nursery though to Year 6.

On this website, you will be able to find more information about our wonderful school which we are proud to share with you.

Bottisham Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all adults to share this commitment.
