Welcome to our Early Years Foundation Stage Area
The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) sets out the learning and development stages for children as they grow from birth to five years. In our school the EYFS includes children in our Nursery (Acorns) and Reception (Oak & Ash).
Children learn and develop through playing, exploring, being active, creative and being asked questions to help their thinking. The EYFS curriculum seeks to incorporate all of these elements in order to provide an engaging and exciting learning experience for the children.
